KUCHING: The Association of Wives of Ministers and Assistant Ministers of Sarawak (SABATI) brought happiness for eleven recipients’ donation amounting to RM85,000.
SABATI President Datuk Amar Hajjah Juma’ani Tunku Bujang, wife of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg led the presentation of donations to the needy by SABATI.
Datuk Amar Hajjah in her speech during the presentation said, as a woman’s charitable organisation SABATI WAS FOCUSSED on assisting those in need and the less fortunate with special emphasis on women and children.
AMONG the donations include 150 mattresses to PERYATIM, donations for two special children and four needing long term costly medical care, donations of A Call Button System for the Geriatic Ward of the Sarawak Heart Centre, and other donations.
She said this during the presentation of donations to the needy by SABATI.
